This position is based at their head office in Camberwell, conveniently located close to public transport, with nearby parking available.
The Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a key role in fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace culture by supporting both day-to-day HR operations and a range of strategic people initiatives. As the organisation embarks on an exciting people and culture agenda, this role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full employee lifecycle while helping drive meaningful change and continuous improvement.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding
- Prepare HR reports, analytics and workforce data
- Provide advice on HR policies and procedures
- Assist with first and second level employee relations matters
- Review and maintain HR policies and documentation
- Support reward and recognition initiatives
- Assist with career progression and remuneration projects
- Contribute to leadership development programs
- Drive process improvements through Employment Hero
- Support key People & Culture projects and initiatives
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys a mix of operational HR and project-based work.
What you will need to succeed?
- Proven experience in a HR Advisor, HR Generalist or HR Coordinator role
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Experience using HRIS platforms, with Employment Hero highly regarded
- Sound understanding of HR practices, employment legislation and workforce planning
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A flexible, proactive and professional approach to work
- A genuine passion for people, with the ability to build positive relationships and champion a strong employee experience
