The Role
Maintaining a high level of organisation and client experience, your day to day responsibilities will include:
- End to end portfolio/ case management
- Assess liability of claims
- Maintain regular contact with the injured/ ill claimant, employer, treating doctors and other service providers
- Coordinate services to achieve treatment, recovery and return to work
- Assess progress, barriers and risks in regards to return to work, recovery and claim finalisation
- Keep all parties updated with progress of claim
- Review claims to determine appropriateness of treatment, adherence to protocols and ongoing liability
- Database maintenance
- Identifying issues and trends in your portfolio and taking appropriate action
- Answering telephone calls and assisting with general enquiries
To be considered for this position we are seeking:
- Proven experience in a similar Case Manager/Claims Advisor within Accident and Illness (or Workers Comp/RTW)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent conflict resolution and exceptional customer service
- A proactive, diligent approach with a commitment to handling multiple cases simultaneously
- Ability to work autonomously with a can-do attitude!
